Azure Solutions Architect

Contract to Perm opening for an Azure Solutions Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure, cloud migrations, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement scalable, secure Azure cloud solutions across IaaS and PaaS environments.

• Lead Azure infrastructure deployments, migrations, and modernization initiatives.

• Develop automated infrastructure deployments using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and PowerShell.

• Implement and support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation.

• Design Azure networking, virtual machines, databases, storage, security, and disaster recovery solutions.

• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders on solution design, troubleshooting, and implementation.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise IT experience with extensive hands-on Azure architecture and implementation experience.

• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS, Azure VMs, Azure SQL, networking, and storage.

• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or similar tools.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting/automation.

• Strong understanding of cloud security, disaster recovery, and high availability.

• Experience leading technical implementations and providing architectural guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), containers, and cloud-native architectures.

• Microsoft Azure certifications, particularly Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

• Consulting, managed services, or healthcare industry experience.
