Job Description

Role: Technical Project Manager with Java Development Background

Location: Plano, TX | 100% Onsite

Contract role

Required Skills:

Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager leading software development teams
Strong hands-on background in Java development (Core Java, J2EE/Spring Boot ecosystem)
Experience managing full SDLC - requirements, design, development, testing, deployment
Ability to read/review code and engage in technical discussions with development teams
Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives)
Risk management, resource planning, and project budgeting experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

PMP or Scrum Master (CSM/PSM) certification
Experience with Java microservices architecture
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
Cloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar PM tooling
Background in banking, financial services, or telecom domains
