We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator I to support engineering programs by coordinating project activities, maintaining project documentation, and assisting Program Managers with the successful execution of customer and internal projects.
This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced engineering or manufacturing environment, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating across departments to ensure projects remain on schedule and deliverables are completed accurately. The Project Coordinator serves as a central point of coordination between engineering, operations, materials management, finance, configuration management, and customer-facing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
Assist Program Managers in planning and coordinating engineering projects from initiation through customer acceptance.
Track project milestones, schedules, deliverables, and action items.
Monitor project progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
Support project closeout activities and customer acceptance requirements.
Documentation & Change Management
Prepare and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist with Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Product Change Notices (PCNs), Bills of Material (BOMs), and Part Number Request (PNR) activities.
Coordinate documentation updates and ensure accuracy across project records.
Support generation and maintenance of new product specifications.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, Materials Management, Finance, Configuration Management, Order Services, and Sales teams.
Coordinate purchase approvals, service purchase orders, and material availability.
Follow up on project dependencies and ensure internal teams remain aligned with project schedules.
Support sustained account projects aligned with established product roadmaps.
Reporting & Communication
Prepare project reports, status updates, and meeting documentation.
Assist with project communications between internal departments and external customers.
Maintain organized project records and documentation.
Support urgent customer requirements while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
Additional Responsibilities
Support in-house label design activities.
Learn company products, processes, and Business Management System (Client) requirements.
Participate in process improvement initiatives as assigned.
Perform additional duties as requested by management.
Qualifications Required
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Associate degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline or three (3) years of experience in project coordination within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
Preferred
Experience supporting engineering or manufacturing projects.
Working knowledge of Oracle Agile PLM or similar Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
Experience with Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Product Change Notices (PCNs), Bills of Material (BOMs), and product documentation.
Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering teams.
Ability to quickly learn new software applications and productivity tools.

Working Environment
Hybrid work arrangement based in Canton, Massachusetts.
Occasional travel may be required (less than 10%).
