The Sales Applications Engineer will report directly to the CEO, leading North American sales and supporting the BA-US sales team.

In this position, you will be responsible for sourcing new customers for the aerospace manufacturing market.

Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline (i.e., mechanical, manufacturing, or electrical engineering)
~7+ years working in customer facing role – ideal candidate will have work experience in Aerospace industry
~ Automated systems such as machine tools, robotic cells or assembly fixtures, jigs, tools
~ Manufacturing applications with thermoset or thermoplastic composite materials
~ Factory assembly or machine manufacturing
Strong sales ability, business acumen, and commercial awareness.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Experience creating and presenting sales proposals
Candidate must be willing to travel up to 100% and have an active US passport
Act as forward-facing sales personnel to achieve North American sales targets automated drilling and fastening equipment, composites manufacturing, etc.)
Qualify potential customers for genuine need and ability to purchase proposed solutions
Work with customers throughout entirety of sales process
Lead in development of sales proposals
Travel to customer sites as needed for sales and proposal meetings and to ensure we are providing world class customer service
Identify possible derivative products and solutions to help expand our current offerings
