Magento Development Resource

Location: Remote

Full Time Only

Core Skill Set

  • PHP & MySQL: Deep mastery of object oriented PHP and MySQL database design, management, and performance tuning.
  • Magento 2 Architecture: Advanced knowledge of the system's modular structure, dependency injection, layout XML, and the plugin/observer pattern.
  • APIs & Web Services: Experience building and integrating REST, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs.
  • Performance Tuning: Knowledge of caching mechanisms (Redis, Varnish) and database query optimization.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git for collaborative code management.
  • Server Environment: Familiarity with Linux command line, Nginx, or Apache web servers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Module Development: Write clean, modular, and secure custom Magento 2 extensions and plugins.
  • Third Party Integration: Connect the online store with payment gateways, ERPs, CRM systems, and shipping providers.
  • Database Management: Optimize database queries and handle data migrations during platform updates.
