Role Summary

Lead the architecture and implementation of a modern, AI-assisted Quality Engineering platform focused on Playwright automation, agentic test generation, coverage intelligence, contract testing, release confidence, and automation governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive Playwright-first automation architecture and standards.
• Design AI-assisted scenario and test generation workflows.
• Establish automation governance, architecture reviews, and engineering standards.
• Define inventory-driven quality engineering across workflows, roles, permissions, feature flags, and contracts.
• Drive contract testing, service virtualization, and external dependency stubbing.
• Architect test data, environment, and parallel execution strategies.
• Establish CI/CD quality gates, coverage intelligence, and release confidence metrics.
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership.

Required Experience

• 10+ years in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, Software Engineering, or Architecture.
• Enterprise-scale automation framework and platform design experience.
• Strong Playwright, TypeScript, Node.js, API testing, and CI/CD expertise.
• Experience with test architecture, automation governance, and engineering standards.
• Strong leadership, architecture, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

• Agentic AI, GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or AI-assisted development.
• Contract testing, service virtualization, and API architecture.
• Retail Media, AdTech, Campaign Management, or Digital Advertising platforms.
• Coverage intelligence, release confidence, and quality analytics frameworks.
