Project Finance Paralegal

Job Description
Robert Half is partnering with a law firm in Seattle, WA to identify a Paralegal who is ready to IMMEDIATELY jump in to assist and possibly join their team. This position is contract with potential for extension/conversion into a permanent role. Review physical and electronic client matter files to support file transfers and new matter transitions across multiple legal practice areas. Determine which documents should be released to clients or new law firms and which records must be retained by the firm.

Analyze case files, correspondence, pleadings, and related documents to ensure transfers are complete, accurate, and compliant with firm guidelines. Conduct on-site and electronic file reviews, escalating issues as needed to ensure smooth and efficient matter transitions. Prior law firm experience in a paralegal, legal assistant, or similar legal support capacity.
