Job Description

Job#: 3055953
Job Description:
Technical Infrastructure Program Manager II
Location: Nashville, Tennessee (Onsite)
Role Overview
The Technical Infrastructure Program Manager owns the end-to-end lifecycle of complex, cross-functional infrastructure programs. This role operates both tactically and strategically, driving day-to-day program execution while defining the program mission and multi-year roadmaps. The position involves leading collaboration across engineering, operations, vendors, finance, field IT, and security teams to deliver scalable and reliable infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full lifecycle of complex, multi-site, multi-million-dollar infrastructure programs, including defining the mission, scope, success criteria, and multi-year roadmap.
  • Drive program strategy in ambiguous environments, building the decision framework, stakeholder map, and execution plan where no playbook exists.
  • Balance short-term execution against long-term direction, managing scope, risk, and cost trade-offs.
  • Coordinate multi-vendor field deployments and remediation across global sites, managing procurement mechanics, supply-chain constraints, and site-readiness dependencies.
  • Manage third-party contractor labor models, access requirements, and vendor performance.
  • Own and present program status, risks, and selections to leadership through narratives, reports, and business reviews.
  • Identify and mitigate execution, safety, compliance, and financial risks, maintaining a risk register and driving resolution plans.
  • Act as the primary interface between engineering, operations, vendors, finance, security, and senior leadership, building consensus and driving alignment.
  • Streamline processes to create predictable, repeatable paths and drive concurrent-delivery improvements.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience managing complex, multi-million-dollar infrastructure or technology programs in an operations environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly for executives.
  • Ability to define scope, build consensus, and drive decisions in ambiguous situations where no playbook exists.
  • Proven experience working across engineering, operations, vendors, and finance to influence without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience owning multi-year strategic roadmaps, not just the execution of defined scope.
  • Knowledge of power, electrical, and cooling infrastructure (UPS, PDU, ATS, HVAC).
  • Data center, fulfillment center, or logistics infrastructure experience.
  • Experience with third-party vendor/contractor program management and field deployment models.
  • Experience mentoring or developing other program managers.
A Day in the Life
Your day starts by reviewing program health dashboards and overnight ticket trends to spot risks and opportunities. You lead morning syncs with engineers and field partners to align on milestones, unblock deliverables, and escalate risks. Midday, you work with vendors and partner teams on deployment schedules, RFQs, or supply-chain constraints. Afternoons involve deep dives on program metrics or preparing executive updates for business reviews and narratives. You close by refining roadmap progress, intake priorities, or mentoring peers on scaling programs.
About the Team
The Data Center Infrastructure Engineering (DCIE) team designs, standardizes, and sustains scalable, cost-effective, and resilient IT infrastructure for fulfillment and logistics operations worldwide. The team enables technology solutions by delivering high-performance power, cooling, structured cabling, edge compute, and automation solutions that ensure reliable and efficient on-premises hardware operations.
