Job Description

Job title: Assistant Product Strategy Manager
Work Location: 420 5th Avenue, Nyc, NY, 10018
Pay rate: $37/hr on W2
Project Start/End Date: 3 months contract
Work hours: 40 hours per week
 
PRODUCT STRATEGY MANAGER 
We are looking for a Product Strategy Assistant Manager that will support the Strategy Manager and director in all aspects of the strategy and development process. The ideal candidate is adaptable, can thrive in a fast-paced environment, be detail-oriented, and work well with cross-functional teams. Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Require a stronger analytical skill set. 
 
MUST HAVE -
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of data, and the ability to quickly navigate business needs and work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Additionally, we would emphasize the need for someone who is highly precise and detail-oriented, with the ability to accurately analyze and interpret various data sets.
  • Ideally, the candidate would have prior product experience and be a fast learner who can quickly adapt to and navigate the multiple platforms and systems used across the business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Line Management:
    • Upkeep of product catalogs
    • Technical line sheet for license
    • General upkeep of PLM data integrity
    • Collection training tools
  • Reporting
    • Pull information from data systems (including monthly reports)
    • Upper management report preparation (requires high level of accuracy)
    • Product reviews
    • Competitive market deep dives
    • Ad-hoc analysis
  • Material Management:
    • Assist with new material development
    • Assist organizing samples
    • Assist in maintaining the integrity of the material libraries
    • Preparation for meetings (IE: placing sketches on boards, preparing color forms, preparing prototype kick-off forms, printing materials for meetings)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • B.S/B.A. degree in Merchandising management and/or Product Development
  • 3+ years experience work experience that is relevant to product development
  • Previous experience with reporting, recruiting, and data analysis
  • Ability to organize and prioritize
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Applications
  • Adaptability and flexibility to both work individually as well as within a team
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and analysis skills.
  • Excellent teamwork, verbal and written communication (including the ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms), as well as project and time management skills are essential.
