Role: Cybersecurity Project/Program Manager
Location: Remote

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Project/Program Manager to lead complex cybersecurity initiatives and enterprise security programs. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience managing large-scale IT/cybersecurity programs, strong executive communication skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across security, infrastructure, applications, risk, compliance, and business functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end cybersecurity projects and enterprise security programs from planning through implementation and closure.
  • Develop program roadmaps, project plans, budgets, milestones, dependencies, and resource plans.
  • Manage multiple concurrent cybersecurity initiatives and ensure delivery against scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Partner with Cybersecurity, IT, Risk, Compliance, Infrastructure, Application, and business stakeholders.
  • Lead initiatives involving security governance, vulnerability management, IAM, cloud security, data protection, incident response, security operations, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
  • Identify and manage program risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
  • Provide executive-level status reporting, dashboards, metrics, and presentations.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings and drive timely decisions across senior stakeholders.
  • Manage vendors, third-party partners, contracts, and delivery commitments where applicable.
  • Establish program governance, processes, standards, and communication frameworks.
  • Ensure cybersecurity initiatives align with enterprise security strategy, risk management objectives, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Drive organizational change, stakeholder adoption, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of overall IT/project/program management experience.
  • Strong experience managing cybersecurity or information security programs in large enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs with multiple workstreams.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, risk management, governance, and compliance.
  • Experience working with executive leadership and presenting program status, risks, and recommendations.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
  • PMP, PgMP, CISSP, CISM, or similar certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with insurance platforms, underwriting, claims, policy administration, or related P&C business processes.
  • Experience with cybersecurity regulatory and compliance initiatives.
  • Experience managing enterprise transformation or technology modernization programs.
  • Experience working with distributed/remote teams and global stakeholders.
