Job Description

Introduction: We are looking for an R&D Senior Engineer – MV Reclosers with 8+ years of experience in the electrical power equipment industry, preferably with expertise in Medium Voltage Reclosers or overhead MV distribution products. The candidate should have strong MV electrical product design knowledge and experience with industry standards and certification requirements.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop Medium Voltage Reclosers and electrical power equipment.
• Perform root-cause analysis, design reviews, and reliability engineering.
• Ensure compliance with IEEE C37.60, IEC 62271-111, ANSI, UL, CSA, and NEMA standards.
• Support product certification and testing activities.
• Work with client manufacturing facilities to develop and validate engineering solutions.
• Document technical findings, designs, and engineering results.
• Support IP generation and project IP strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Mechanical.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the electrical power equipment industry.
• Experience with MV Reclosers or overhead MV distribution products preferred.
