The Role • Design, develop, and debug mission-critical software using modern languages and tools, including Java. • Participate in the full software development lifecycle within Agile frameworks. • Utilize Agile development tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket/Git for work management and team collaboration. • Support the creation and updating of all relevant design, development, and testing documentation. • Identify and resolve potential roadblocks, plan development tasks, and estimate work efforts. • Develop maintainable code that meets specifications and contribute to automated testing with continuous integration processes. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 1+ years of experience (additional experience may substitute for a degree). • US Citizen with an active Secret clearance or higher. • Hands-on experience with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming. • Hands-on experience with JavaScript and JS frameworks such as React. • Ability to apply software development process fundamentals and work independently. • Strong desire to learn new technologies and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
