Introduction

The Director of Digital Workplace Services for End User Computing and Service Desk is a critical leadership role within the modern enterprise, responsible for shaping, delivering, and continually improving the digital experience for employees. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

· Develop and articulate a forward-looking vision for digital workplace services, aligning technology investments with organizational goals and employee needs.

· Direct and enhance the global IT service desk function, delivering exceptional user support across multiple channels (phone, chat, email, self-service).

· Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for service desk operations, such as first contact resolution, customer satisfaction, and ticket turnaround times.

· Implement service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) to ensure consistent incident, request, and problem management processes.

· Leverage automation, AI, and self-service portals to streamline support workflows and empower users to resolve issues independently.

· Drive workforce development through training, mentoring, and knowledge management initiatives for service desk staff.

· Ensure all digital workplace services comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards for data protection, privacy, and security.

· Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to manage audits, assessments, and remediation activities.

· Develop policies, procedures, and guidelines governing end user computing and service desk operations.

· Comprehensive understanding of ITIL, device management platforms, cybersecurity principles, and cloud-based productivity solutions.

· Strong financial acumen and vendor management expertise.

· Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
