Position Title:- Data Center Computer Operator
Location: Atlanta, GA
Position type: Contract
Interview Process:- Either Web Cam or In Person

We are looking for an experienced Data Center Computer Operator to support daily operations in a large data center environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Control-M, TPE/BPE Manager, production control, network monitoring, and data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor computer systems and data center equipment.

• Monitor Control-M job scheduling and TPE/BPE transactions.

• Monitor network connectivity, system access, and server performance.

• Monitor data center security, HVAC, electrical systems, generators, UPS, and fire protection systems.

• Coordinate hardware and software maintenance with vendors.

• Ensure printed output is accurate and free of defects.

• Follow change management, incident management, problem management, and asset management procedures.

• Support business continuity and disaster recovery operations.

• Monitor and support AIX, Linux, and Windows servers.

• Follow ITIL standards and data center operational procedures.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Computer Operator in a large data center.

• Minimum 2 years of experience with NOC operations and production control.

• Hands-on experience with Control-M and TPE/BPE Manager.

• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, MPLS, TCP/IP, and SNA.

• Experience with data center security, HVAC, generators, UPS, raised floors, and fire suppression systems.

• Knowledge of ITIL, change management, incident management, and disaster recovery.

• Experience with automated job schedulers and hardware/software maintenance contracts.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Education: Two-year degree or certificate in IT or a related field, or equivalent IT work experience.

Preferred: Experience working with state or federal government organizations.
