Backend Engineer

job summary:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of software development experience.

Strong proficiency in Python for application development, automation, and API integrations.

Hands-on experience with .NET Core for building scalable applications and RESTful services.

Strong understanding of MySQL database design, development, query optimization, and performance tuning.

Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and microservices.

Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and software engineering best practices.

Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

responsibilities:

The engineer will help accelerate delivery of key initiatives, improve operational efficiency through automation, and ensure seamless onboarding and support for expanding business needs across the Social Media program.

qualifications:

Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of front-end technologies such as Angular, React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Experience building enterprise-scale applications and high-volume transaction processing systems.

Knowledge of security best practices, authentication, and authorization frameworks.
