Role -Pega Tester

Location - Pittsburgh, PA.

Job type- W2 Contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Planning & Requirement Analysis: Analyze Pega user stories, process flows, business rules, decision tables, and case management workflows to create end-to-end test scenarios and test cases.
  • Pega-Specific Validation: Validate Case Types, Stage/Step configurations, SLA rules, Data Pages, Declarative expressions, User Interfaces (Harness/Section rules), and Access Groups/Security roles.
  • Integration Testing: Test Pega integration interfaces (Connect-REST, Connect-SOAP, Service-REST, Kafka/MQ integrations) using tools like Postman or ReadyAPI, verifying payload structures and fault handling.
  • Database & Backend Verification: Inspect Pega database tables, work tables, BLOB data processing, tracer operations, and System Management Application (SMA) / Admin Studio logs.
  • Automation: Develop and maintain automated test suites using Pega Scenario Testing, Selenium, or framework tools (e.g., Cucumber/BDD) integrated with standard CI/CD deployment flows.
