Job Description

Job Summary:

The API & Integration Developer must be skilled in Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Service Bus (OSB) to build and maintain the integrations enabling data exchange between the GO.gov/SAP Concur Travel & Expense system and the BAS Oracle EBS Financials environment. This role focuses on REST APIs (JSON), SOAP/XML processing, secure SFTP integrations, and API gateway authentication (TLS/mTLS, token handling). The developer will accommodate requirements captured in the interface design documentation to ensure reliable, secure, and accurate delivery of travel and financial transactions to Oracle EBS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain integrations using Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Service Bus.
  • Develop and maintain REST/JSON integrations for real-time financial transactions, coordinating integration requirements with architects and SMEs to ensure compliance with federal travel and financial standards.
  • Transform JSON/XML payloads into BAS-ready formats following interface design data mappings.
  • Implement SFTP batch interfaces aligned with GSA s OM-4 FM Standard for Travel & Expense integrations.
  • Build secure API gateway logic including authentication, token exchange, TLS/mTLS transport, and error handling.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Oracle SOA Suite and OSB for enterprise integrations.
  • Hands-on experience developing REST APIs, JSON payload transformations, and secure API gateway integrations.
  • Experience working with XML, XSD schemas, SOAP services, and secure SFTP integrations.
  • Ability to translate interface design documents into integration mappings and transformation logic.
  • Preferred experience supporting integrations for federal systems or travel/expense platforms.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with Oracle EBS financial integration concepts including LOA structures, obligations, vouchers, and AP invoice processing.
  • Understanding of SOA principles and middleware integration patterns.
  • Experience developing custom interfaces, concurrent programs, and PL/SQL packages in Oracle EBS.
