Job Description
Job#: 3051922
Job Description:
Growth and Operations Program Manager
Location: REDMOND, Washington (Remote)
Pay: $52.00-$58.00 Hourly
Role Overview
The main function of this role is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in fields such as engineering, research and development, and product roll-out. The Growth and Operations Program Manager will own the end-to-end execution of region launches and associated pricing actions. This is a hands-on, technical pricing and launch operations role supporting the pricing and monetization team within the Business Planning team of a Cloud Marketing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is required.
Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience is required.
Skills:
Additional Information
On a typical day the contractor is working on one of four core activities, usually across several active region launches at the same time. The mix shifts with the launch calendar: heavier on data and analysis early in a cycle, heavier on execution and validation as submission dates approach.
1. Data extraction and analysis
Pull pricing and region information from internal repositories using SQL and KQL, then run ad-hoc analysis in Excel using (VLOOKUP/ XLOOKUP/ Pivots) to surface the insight that enables a pricing or launch action. The contractor is expected to build the analysis themselves rather than wait on engineering support.
2. Pricing execution (LRT creation and MLC triage)
Once a pricing action is decided, the contractor converts it into the required artifacts and drives the item through the process to submission. This is the highest-volume part of the role.
Translate the approved pricing intent into the required analytic format through LRT creation, checking the inputs before they go forward.
Create MLC cards, complete the required fields, and drive each item through the MLC and MLC 2.0 process.
Manage change requests through execution, tracking status and chasing the dependencies that hold an item up.
3. Validation
Validation is where errors get caught before they reach the market, and it carries the most quality risk in the role. The contractor validates the Partner Center change summary, the output of a pricing action, against the original pricing intent and our established pricing principles.
Run the validation tool and reconcile the change summary against the original intent.
Triage the errors Partner Center throws, identify the underlying cause, and correct the input rather than working around the symptom.
Confirm that changes flow through correctly, with no regression to existing prices, offers or regions.
4. Project and launch management
Track progress against milestones and dependencies, follow up on blockers and missing inputs, keep execution artifacts current (MLC records, LRTs, tracking tools, status reports), and coordinate with Engineering, Business Planners and downstream teams to clarify launch intent and confirm readiness for submission. Risks are raised early with a proposed mitigation, not once a date has slipped.
Operating rhythm - The week is shaped by the region launch calendar.
Daily: Attend daily scrums, triage incoming requests and Partner Center errors, progress active LRTs and MLC cards, and work down the validation queue.
Weekly: launch reviews and sync points with Business Planners and Launch Leader teams, plus tracker and status reporting updates.
Milestone-driven: concentrated execution and validation pushes ahead of submission and launch dates.
