AI Developer - Lead (15+ Years)
Location: Juno Beach, Florida (On-site)
Role Overview
This organization is seeking a principal-level expert to provide technical vision and organizational leadership for AI initiatives while remaining hands-on in writing code. The successful candidate will define and own the enterprise-wide AI technical architecture and lead highly complex, high-impact AI transformations. This leadership role serves as a trusted subject matter expert to executive leadership, establishing governance and ethical AI frameworks while setting long-term technical standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise-wide AI technical architecture to guide long-term technology investments.
• Lead highly complex, high-impact AI transformations across the organization.
• Provide technical vision and organizational leadership for AI initiatives while remaining hands-on in writing code.
• Establish governance and ethical AI frameworks to ensure responsible technology deployment.
• Set long-term technical standards and cultivate future technical leaders through mentorship.
• Anticipate industry trends and serve as a trusted subject matter expert to executive leadership.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field of study.
Experience: Over 15 years of experience in software engineering and applied artificial intelligence.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, proven experience designing scalable distributed AI systems, and recognized expertise in AI/ML with enterprise-scale impact. Extensive experience in system architecture, cloud platforms, and data ecosystems is required.
Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale AI research and development initiatives.
• Excellent strategic communication skills and a proven track record of mentoring top technical talent.
