Head of Product - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Head of Product - Onsite position with a Financial Technology Company located in New York, NY. This is a direct placement opportunity.

We're looking for a Head of Product to run product as its General Manager, reporting directly to the CEO. This is a P&L-owning, commercial-outcome leadership role, not a feature-owner seat. You're joining alongside a broader leadership transformation already in motion - engineering transformation is underway, and a Head of Product Design search is active alongside this one.

Responsibilities:

• Own commercial outcomes for the product organization - accountable for adoption, revenue, and margin, not just delivery velocity
• Set and sequence product strategy across a platform with multiple surfaces that reinforce each other and serve multiple ICPs, with a network effect that shapes distribution in ways most B2B products don't get to leverage
• Own go-to-market's product-facing layer - positioning, launch sequencing, and technical readiness for new launches
• Design the product and product/design org structure to match how the platform is growing
• Build strong discovery and post-launch feedback practice into how the team works
• Shape our AI strategy - where it changes the product itself, and where it changes how the team builds and operates
• Hire, coach, and raise the bar for a product team as it scales
• Represent product to the CEO, board, and key customers and partners

Requirements:

• You've owned a P&L or full commercial outcomes across multiple product lines or ICPs - you think like a GM, not a feature owner
• You've launched and scaled products across a range of industries and team sizes
• You've competed against both legacy incumbents and a crowded field of newer entrants
• Experience with platform or network-driven businesses is ideal - where distribution runs through channels, partnerships, or the network itself rather than a traditional enterprise sales motion, and where the GTM problem is more about designing the right structure than executing a standard playbook
• You've built or fixed a product org before - you know what to change and in what order
• Real, current fluency in applied AI, both as product surface and operating lever
• Comfortable in regulated, data-sensitive, workflow-heavy environments where correctness and auditability aren't optional
• NY-based, in-person

Pay range: $270,000 per year
