Job Description

Duales Studium Soziale Arbeit (B.A.) | Bonn, Germany | On-site

We are hiring for a leading private university with a strong focus on flexible and innovative higher education, offering students a pathway to impactful careers in social work. This program combines practical experience with academic learning to prepare graduates for real-world challenges.

The Role

  • Begin your dual study program in January, April, or October, either on-campus or virtually.
  • Gain practical experience through internships with partner companies in your local area.
  • Specialize in one of four key areas: Childhood Pedagogy, Social Work with Adults, Child and Youth Welfare, or School-based Social Work.
  • Assist colleagues in providing practical, goal-oriented pedagogical support in clients' daily lives and educational settings.
  • Receive comprehensive insights into areas such as socio-psychiatric support, educational assistance, and pedagogical school support.

What You'll Need

  • Possess a (technical) high school diploma, a qualified vocational qualification, or be a state-certified technician/business administrator.
  • Demonstrate German language proficiency at the B2 level.
  • Exhibit qualities such as diligence, responsibility, and discretion.
  • Possess empathy, compassion, enjoy working with people, and have resilience.
  • Prior experience in a Voluntary Social Year (FSJ), Federal Volunteer Service, or other volunteer work is advantageous.
