Scimplify is a fast-growing, technology-driven specialty chemicals platform backed by leading investors. We partner with global customers to provide end-to-end solutions across Agrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Nutrition, Personal Care, and Industrial Chemicals.
Within the Agro business, we work closely with global innovators and manufacturers on custom synthesis, contract manufacturing (CMO/CDMO), sourcing, and supply chain solutions for agrochemical intermediates, technicals, formulations, and specialty ingredients.
This role offers the opportunity to build international customer relationships, develop new business globally, and work across the entire value chain rather than selling a limited product portfolio. It's a highly entrepreneurial role with significant growth potential.
Sector: Crop Protection & Plant Nutrition
The Role
Drive Scimplify's growth by spearheading strategic partnerships and commercial execution across the crop protection value chain. You will identify high-impact opportunities, negotiate complex agreements, and build integrated business plans with manufacturers, distributors, and technology providers in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnerships & Growth
- Identify and manage long-term partnerships with manufacturers and distributors to expand Scimplify's footprint.
- Negotiate commercial agreements that ensure sustainable profitability and market share.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory shifts to pivot strategy and capture new opportunities.
Commercial Strategy & Execution
- Design and execute annual sales plans to meet revenue and margin targets.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration (R&D, Regulatory, Finance, Marketing) to drive product launches and joint innovations.
- Translate market intelligence into actionable business development initiatives.
Account & Financial Management
- Cultivate senior-level relationships with strategic B2B accounts, positioning Scimplify as a preferred partner.
- Lead contract management and compliance processes.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts and manage budgets (OpEx and promotional) aligned with annual targets.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or Agribusiness (Master's/MBA preferred).
- Experience: 8+ years in B2B agricultural solutions, crop protection, plant nutrition or biologicals.
- Regional Expertise: Deep understanding of distribution channels and the agricultural landscape in LATAM & North America, Europe & CIS Countries, Japan & Australia
- Track Record: Proven success in structuring high-value commercial deals and scaling strategic partnerships.
