The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) for safe and efficient movement of shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks.
• Position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard using hostlers.
• Stack, move, and organize containers according to yard operations.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks and moves, maintaining a safe work environment.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Ability to work a night shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety and keen attention to detail.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
