Payroll Analyst

PAYROLL ASSOCIATE – CONTRACT

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Associate to support the payroll operations of a large, global organization. This individual will provide hands-on support across payroll processing, reporting, reconciliations, payroll accounting, tax, compliance, and employee inquiries.

The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on UKG Pro (UltiPro) experience, strong multi-state payroll knowledge, and experience supporting a high-volume payroll environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for a large employee population

• Perform payroll reporting, reconciliations, audits, and compliance activities

• Support month-end payroll accounting and general ledger reporting

• Research and resolve employee payroll questions and discrepancies

• Assist with payroll tax administration and issue resolution

• Partner with HR, Finance, Tax, and other internal teams

• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and accuracy

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of hands-on payroll experience

• Recent UKG Pro / UltiPro experience

• Strong multi-state payroll knowledge

• Experience with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and payroll accounting

• Familiarity with month-end close and general ledger activities

• Working knowledge of payroll tax and internal controls

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• UKG Pro / UltiPro certification

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification

• Experience supporting a large or complex corporate environment

• Exposure to equity compensation, international payroll, or payroll system enhancements
