RN/LPN โ€“ Day Shift | Cura of Willmar

Position Summary

Cura of Willmar is seeking a dependable and compassionate RN or LPN to join our nursing team on the day shift. The RN/LPN is responsible for providing quality nursing care to residents while supporting the nursing team and ensuring resident needs are met in accordance with individualized care plans, facility policies, and applicable regulations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with their care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify providers and appropriate team members as needed.
  • Complete nursing assessments and required documentation accurately and timely.
  • Communicate with residents, families, providers, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Provide direction, supervision, and support to CNAs and TMAs during the shift.
  • Respond appropriately to resident emergencies and changes in condition.
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as assigned.
  • Ensure physician orders and nursing interventions are carried out appropriately.
  • Follow infection prevention, safety, and resident rights requirements.
  • Participate in shift report and communicate relevant resident information to the oncoming nursing team.
  • Perform other nursing duties as assigned.

Current and active Minnesota RN or LPN license in good standing.

CPR certification or ability to obtain as required.

Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Ability to provide compassionate and professional care to residents.

Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred, but not required.
