Mid-Level Oracle Database Engineer [$239k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance

Summary: • Design, develop, and administer database structures, parsers, and data flow architectures. • Support full lifecycle requirements from project inception through system acceptance testing and operational capability. • Provide expert database engineering, administration, and performance optimization in Linux environments.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 10+ years • Total Compensation: $239k+ yearly Job Description: • Provide technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage, retrieval, and data flow analysis. • Develop relational and object-oriented databases, parser software, and loading tools while planning long-range administration requirements. • Perform installation, patching, and administration using Oracle Database, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Oracle Data Guard. • Establish database architectures that balance data volumes, user capacity, logical/physical distribution, response times, retention rules, and domain contr ols. • Translate complex requirements into usable technical artifacts, ad hoc queries, scripts, and macros using Linux and Bash scripting. • Construct and optimize data architectures leveraging Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) and cloud storage and retrieval methodologies. • Evaluate, recommend, and execute systems improvements and maintenance efforts, with MongoDB experience preferred.
