Junior Data Center Technician [$179k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance

Summary: • Troubleshoot and resolve data center infrastructure issues across server hardware, cabling, and networking. • Apply computer architecture and OSI model principles to perform root-cause analysis and system troubleshooting. • Manage physical infrastructure workflows including rack deployment, capacity tracking, and hardware decommissioning.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 3+ years • Total Compensation: $179k+ yearly (tentative) Job Description: • Serve as the primary resolver for data center infrastructure issues involving hardware, fiber, and network protocols. • Execute rack deployment, cabling, capacity planning, and equipment decommissioning tasks. • Diagnose and resolve technical problems at the root while maintaining operational service level agreements. • Perform hands-on physical data center activities including lifting items up to 40 pounds and working in rack environments. • Support continuous 24/7 operations through proactive issue detection, process innovation, and shift coverage.
