Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Jefferson City, MO

Assembly Breakdown & Flows:

Analyze mechanical designs to create detailed process flows and mechanical assembly breakdowns, defining the exact step-by-step production sequences.

Documentation & Work Instructions:

Draft clear Process Sheets and design highly visual Work Instructions (WIs) for floor operators to ensure assembly accuracy and consistency.

Material Staging & Flow Define:

optimal material flow paths and set up physical staging areas at key assembly stations to minimize waste and optimize material handling.

Quality Control Plans:

Establish robust Quality Control Plans (including verification of critical torque values, fitment, and assembly integrity) to prevent defects.

Production Line Setup:

Physically arrange, balance, and optimize assembly line stations, tooling placement, and operator footprints for maximum efficiency.

Professional Experience:

3+ years of active experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
5+ years of active experience, specifically in complex product environments.

Domain Background:

Strong, proven background working in discrete mechanical assembly environments.
Experience in heavy assembly, structural integrations, or complex line balancing.

Methodological Skills:

Solid understanding of assembly methods, workstation layout design, line balancing, and process mapping.
Strong background in DFMA (Design for Manufacturing & Assembly) and FMEA/DPFA.
