Job Title: AWS Architect (Node.js / Java)

Important: The candidate must have strong hands-on coding experience in Node.js (primary requirement). Java is the second preference.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect with strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on coding experience in Node.js (primary requirement) and/or Java, along with deep knowledge of AWS services, microservices architecture, cloud security, and DevOps practices.

The candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable, highly available, and secure enterprise applications while providing technical leadership to development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end cloud solutions using AWS services.

• Define architecture standards, best practices, and governance models.

• Develop and review application code in Node.js and Java.

• Design cloud-native microservices and serverless architectures.

• Lead migration of on-premises applications to AWS.

• Create scalable REST APIs and event-driven architectures.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams.

• Ensure security, compliance, reliability, and performance of AWS environments.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Guide development teams on coding standards and cloud best practices.

• Conduct architecture reviews, design workshops, and technical assessments.

• Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps automation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.

• 5+ years of AWS architecture experience.

• Strong coding background in Node.js and Java.

• Experience leading cloud transformation and modernization programs.

• Ability to interact with clients and drive technical discussions.
