Sr. Security Engineer

Sr. Security Engineer / Hybrid / Atlanta, GA

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Information Security Engineer to join its Enterprise Cybersecurity team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise security solutions that protect critical systems, networks, and data across a large-scale technology environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security engineering, vulnerability management, incident response, risk assessment, and enterprise security architecture. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact cybersecurity initiatives while helping strengthen the organization's overall security posture.

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Security Engineering, or a related field
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise security infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of network security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, and access management
• Experience performing vulnerability assessments, security testing, and risk analysis
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery, business continuity, and security architecture principles

What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities

• Design, implement, deploy, and support enterprise security technologies that protect critical business systems and information assets
• Analyze the organization's security environment and recommend technical solutions to reduce risk and improve security
• Configure and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), encryption technologies, and other security platforms
• Investigate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and support enterprise incident response activities
• Develop automation scripts and security tools to improve incident tracking, monitoring, and operational efficiency
• Perform vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, security testing, and technical security reviews
• Design and implement authentication, authorization, encryption, and access control solutions
