Work schedule (days & time): Monday Friday Core business hours - 8-4 CST /9-5 EST

Contract only until 3/31/2027 with potential for extension

The Project Manager will lead the execution of initiatives that support planning, forecasting, reporting, and finance transformation efforts.

This role will partner with Finance, IT, Product Owners, Business SMEs, and Change Management teams to drive project execution, coordinate deliverables, manage risks, and ensure successful completion of key milestones.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams while operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

Maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies.

Drive day-to-day execution of assigned projects and workstreams.

Monitor progress against key milestones and identify schedule risks early.

Coordinate activities across Finance, IT, data, reporting, and business teams.

Facilitate resolution of project issues and remove delivery roadblocks.

Stakeholder Coordination

Schedule and facilitate recurring project meetings, workshops, and working sessions.

Track action items, decisions, and follow-ups through completion.

Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technology partners.

Ensure alignment across cross-functional teams and communicate impacts of project decisions.

Status Reporting & Communications

Prepare weekly project status reports.

Escalate risks, issues, and decisions requiring leadership attention.

Communicate project updates clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Risk & Issue Management

Maintain RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs.

Proactively identify and track project risks and mitigation plans.

Monitor cross-workstream dependencies and potential impacts to timelines.

Support issue resolution and escalation processes.

Testing & Readiness Support

Coordinate UAT, validation, and business readiness activities.

Track testing progress, defects, and remediation efforts.

Support go-live readiness reviews and deployment planning.

Assist in hypercare planning and post-implementation support activities.

Documentation & Governance

Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, and decision logs.

Ensure project artifacts are accurate and current.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.

3+ years of project management experience.

Experience managing cross-functional business and technology initiatives.

Strong organizational and coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Experience facilitating meetings and driving accountability across stakeholders.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
