MEP Superintendent

Title: MEP Superintendent / Technical Project Lead
Location: The main demand is coming from Vineland NJ right now. This resource must be able to commute into Vineland.
Duration: 6 month+ contract to hire
This is a senior field leadership role on large construction projects (data centers)
This resource will not be behind a desk managing schedules all day. Will be in the field making sure all the major building systems-electrical, mechanical/HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, low-voltage, fiber, etc.-are installed correctly, in the right order, and without causing delays

• Experience coordinating multiple MEP trades (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, low-voltage, etc.) on a construction project


• Identify and resolve field issues that could have impacted the project schedule


• Experience supporting commissioning, testing, and final system turnover on large-scale projects

MEP Superintendent / Technical Project Lead Candidate Profile

MEP Superintendent or Technical Project Lead supporting complex MEP construction, data center, and mission-critical build-out work.

Requirements:

• 8-12+ years of construction experience with 5+ years in MEP field coordination, superintendent, or technical lead responsibilities


• Direct heavy construction experience in data centers, mission-critical, industrial, hospital, advanced manufacturing, large commercial, or utility-heavy environments


• Strong field leadership with the ability to coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, low-voltage, and telecom scopes


• Ability to read drawings, identify constructability issues, manage RFIs/submittals, and translate technical issues into field direction


• Proven ability to lead daily trade coordination, resolve blockers, support look-ahead planning, and drive punch list / turnover readiness


• Comfort working directly with foremen, superintendents, PMs, engineers, QA/QC, commissioning teams, owners, partners


• Data center or mission-critical build-out experience


• Familiarity with power path, redundancy, UPS, PDU, RPP, busway, branch circuit, cable tray, fiber, copper, and cooling coordination


• Commissioning-driven project experience, including pre-functional and functional test readiness


• BIM / Navisworks coordination exposure


• OSHA 30 certification


• Electrical, mechanical, low-voltage, foreman, general foreman, superintendent, or commissioning coordinator background
