Manpower Permanent Placement is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients, a fast-growing international player in the financial services sector, an Operations Officer - Middle Office (M/F/X) - Permanent

Contract type: Permanent (CDI)

Location: Luxembourg - Kirchberg

Start date: As soon as possible

Recently established in Luxembourg, this organization is backed by a well-established European banking group and provides specialized services to investment vehicles, including execution, custody, and depositary services.

In a context of sustained growth, you will join a dynamic team and actively contribute to the setup and optimization of operations.

Your mission:

Reporting to the Middle Office Manager, you will support operational activities and contribute to service quality, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

Your responsibilities:

• Assist management in handling operational activities and client servicing


• Handle client requests in a responsive and professional manner


• Monitor securities and cash transactions within internal systems


• Participate in the processing of corporate actions


• Perform cash and securities reconciliations and investigate discrepancies


• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, controls, and regulatory requirements


• Interact with key industry stakeholders (fund administrators, management companies, depositaries, etc.)


• Contribute to the onboarding of new clients and operational relationships


• Maintain accurate and comprehensive operational documentation

Your profile:

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent


• Initial experience or strong motivation to develop within banking/financial operations


• Good understanding of the regulatory environment (UCITS, AIFM, MiFID, AML/KYC)


• Strong attention to detail, organization, and reliability


• Good interpersonal skills and team spirit


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel)


• Knowledge of SWIFT systems and settlement processes is an asset


• Fluent in English; any additional European language is considered an advantage
