The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers within an intermodal yard.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks.
• Position containers and chassis accurately for seamless transit.
• Perform daily pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate logistical movements and tasks.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing.
• Strong commitment to safety and a keen attention to detail.
• Open availability and willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment background verification, physical, and drug screening.
