Job Description :

We are looking for a Snowflake Platform Admin with strong hands-on Snowflake experience. The candidate should have experience designing and implementing database solutions and models, building data warehouses and data marts on Snowflake, supporting data migration and integration, and working with data quality, governance, and data architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve retail data.
• Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.
• Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
• Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
• Work with OLAP and OLTP database models.
• Work with dimensional models and have a comprehensive understanding of Star schema and Snowflake schema concepts.
• Design and develop data extraction and integration code modules.
• Partner with data engineers and testing practitioners to strategize ingestion modes and ensure data quality.
• Build data warehouses and data marts on Snowflake.
• Perform data profiling and quality analysis.
• Use version control to maintain code and track changes.
• Work closely with all business units and engineering teams to develop data strategy for long-term data platform architecture.
• Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
• Coach team members and collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization.
• Take complete ownership of deliverables.

Required Skills

• Experience as a Data Architect with Snowflake experience is a MUST.
• Good hands-on experience in Snowflake utilities, Snow SQL, and Snow pipe.
• Experience with OLAP and OLTP database models.
• Strong understanding of dimensional models.
• Comprehensive understanding of Star schema and Snowflake schema concepts.
• Experience with data extraction and integration.
• Experience with data warehouses and data marts on Snowflake.
• Experience with data profiling and quality analysis.
• Experience using version control to maintain code and track changes.
• Technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
• Ability to collaborate with business units, engineering teams, data engineers, and testing practitioners.
• Ability to coach team members and take complete ownership of deliverables.
