The Role

• Fabricate and install pipework systems using various materials such as copper, cuni, carbon steel, and stainless steel.
• Utilize a range of hand tools and mechanical equipment for cutting, bending, welding, and installing pipes.
• Install and assemble fittings, valves, and related components according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Fit utilities aboard vessels, including sinks, showers, and toilets.
• Collaborate effectively with other trades to ensure project timelines are met.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations, company procedures, and maintain accurate work records.

What You'll Need

• A Modern Apprenticeship or equivalent Trade Papers (SVQ3, City & Guilds).
• Proven experience in pipe manufacturing and installation, with proficiency in relevant tools and equipment for major projects.
• Solid understanding of pipefitting methods, safe working practices, and trade-standard techniques.
• Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, pipework diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of SHE, COSHH, and risk assessment requirements and their practical application.
• Previous experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar trade within an industrial or commercial setting.
