Quick overview
Job description
The Child Care Recruitment Coordinator plays a vital role in strengthening the local early childhood system and building stronger communities by increasing access to safe, high-quality child care. Through community outreach, partnership development, and provider support, this position identifies, recruits, and guides individuals interested in becoming registered or licensed Family Day Care (FDC), Group Family Day Care (GFDC), or Day Care Center providers. By connecting prospective providers with the resources, guidance, business support, and encouragement needed to successfully navigate the start-up and licensing process, the coordinator helps expand child care options for families, particularly in underserved and high-need areas. Their work contributes to a more accessible, sustainable, and responsive early childhood system that supports children, families, providers, and the broader community.

- Ensure outreach efforts are culturally responsive and accessible to individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Track recruitment activities, referrals, provider progress, and outcomes to support planning and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal staff to provide consistent, accurate information and referrals.
