Service Engineer (Mechanical Bisa) – Romsey - £17.02 - £19.10 per hour DOE – Temp to Perm role Location: Romsey, Hampshire<br />Salary: £17.02 – £19.10 per hour, DOE<br />Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm<br />Type: Temp to perm role A specialist engineering and industrial services business is looking for an experienced Service Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join its team in Romsey. The role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing plant and equipment/Pumps, fault finding, breakdown support and occasional UK travel. Some overnight stays and participation in an on-call rota will be required. Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair plant and equipment/pumps.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults and breakdowns.
• Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Support site teams and workshop operations.
• Maintain accurate service records and work safely. Essential
• Formal mechanical qualification, apprenticeship, NVQ or City &amp; Guilds.
• Mechanical maintenance experience, ideally with diesel/plant equipment/Pumps.
• Strong fault-finding skills.
• Basic electrical knowledge, including 12V/24V systems.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Practical, hands-on approach. Desirable
• HGV licence.
• Forklift certification.
• WJA, CSCS or CCNSG card.
• Towing/Fabrication/welding experience. Benefits
