Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and troubleshoot enterprise wired and wireless networks, including incidents, outages, performance, and connectivity issues.
  • Implement network changes using established change management standards and contribute to root cause and problem management.
  • Support office expansions, relocations, retrofits, and new site builds, including MDF/IDF deployment and commissioning.
  • Coordinate networking hardware installation and activation with facilities teams, low-voltage contractors, vendors, security teams, and project managers.
  • Provide secure, reliable connectivity for access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, and other physical security systems.
  • Maintain network diagrams, documentation, procedures, inventory, logistics, and hardware lifecycle records.
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders while delivering strong customer service.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience in campus, corporate, or distributed multi-site environments.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing and switching, DHCP, DNS, enterprise wireless, and network troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Arista switching environments and Arista EOS; CloudVision Portal experience is preferred.
  • Experience with FortiGate firewalls, including policy management, NAT, VPNs, segmentation, and security best practices.
  • Experience supporting office construction, network deployments, infrastructure projects, and formal change management.
  • Comfort managing network environments through both CLI and GUI tools.

Preferred Experience

  • Opengear, network monitoring and management platforms, and Network Access Control solutions.
  • Enterprise infrastructure and data center networking environments.
  • Experience supporting global organizations, large campuses, healthcare, higher education, financial services, or technology companies.
  • Relevant certifications such as Arista ACE, Fortinet NSE/FCSS, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.

Professional Skills

  • Strong communication, customer service, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing operational and project priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional presence and a collaborative approach when working with employees, executives, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Work Model

  • Location: Santa Monica.
  • Schedule: Primarily onsite, five days per week, during standard business hours.
  • Occasional collaboration across US Pacific time zones and limited travel for office or infrastructure projects.
