Platform Evaluation & Implementation Lead (Temporary Contract)

Seeking a temporary Platform Evaluation & Implementation Lead to support a knowledge management system (Insights Hub) and strengthen its generative AI and platform capabilities.

This role spans two distinct but connected phases:

• Pre-decision platform evaluation, including structured collection of stakeholder feedback to inform leadership decisions and participation in testing and analysis activities.
• Post-decision planning and execution, supporting implementation readiness, migration planning, testing, validation, and change management.

This is a senior, hands-on role for an experienced strategic partner who can lead through ambiguity, apply agile principles, and contribute directly to execution-not just coordinate work.

Key Responsibilities
A. Pre-Decision Platform Evaluation & Sandbox Testing

• Support the definition and operationalization of success criteria and evaluation metrics (e.g., usability, accuracy, relevance, completeness, recency, and efficiency).
• Support the collection, synthesis, and analysis of testing feedback and insights.
• Prepare decision-ready summaries and recommendations for leadership and advisory stakeholders.

B. Planning & Program Management

• Partner with Research leadership to inform overall scope, sequencing, and decision framing for the Insights Hub initiative.
• Develop and support delivery of actionable project plans, including milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Manage the integrated schedule from evaluation through execution, keeping teams aligned and surfacing risks early.
• Apply agile principles to adapt plans as new information, constraints, or opportunities emerge.

C. Implementation Readiness, Migration Planning, Testing & Validation (Post-Decision)

• Support planning and coordination required to implement a selected platform or enhance the existing system.
• Lead implementation planning and workflow design activities.
• Support data migration planning and execution.
• Coordinate testing, validation, and readiness checkpoints.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet functional, governance, and operational requirements.
• Translate evaluation findings into implementation priorities and execution plans.

D. Change Management & Communications

• Create clear, audience-appropriate communications throughout both evaluation and implementation phases.
• Develop updates, guidance materials, and decision-support documentation.
• Provide change management support to help stakeholders understand upcoming changes, business impacts, and new processes.
• Anticipate adoption challenges and proactively address them through communication, training, and process improvements.

Qualifications & Experience
Required

• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and deliverable ownership.
• Significant experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving platform evaluation, system implementation, or both.
• Demonstrated expertise in:
  • Project management and agile delivery
  • Platform or vendor evaluation and comparison
  • Sandbox or user testing design and execution
  • Testing and validation
  • Change management and communications
  • Data migration and implementation readiness planning
• Strong communication, analytical, and synthesis skills, including experience developing executive-ready materials.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and guiding teams from exploration to informed decision-making.

Preferred

• Experience within research, insights, knowledge management, analytics, or data-driven environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise governance, stakeholder decision-making processes, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Exposure to generative AI technologies, knowledge management platforms, and digital transformation initiatives.
