Robert Half is looking for a VP of Finance for a growing company in Cincinnati. The VP of Finance will be responsible to lead the company’s financial operations and provide strategic financial guidance to ownership and senior leadership. The VP of Finance will oversee accounting, financial reporting, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and internal controls while serving as a key business partner across the organization. This is a highly visible role for a finance leader who can operate strategically while remaining engaged in the day-to-day financial operations of our growing company. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including, Director of Finance, or similar leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting, cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience managing AP, AR, payroll, month-end/year-end close, and financial compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic financial leadership with hands-on execution in a growing, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including senior leadership experience such as Director of Finance or a comparable role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
  • Hands-on experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and close processes.
  • Strong understanding of financial compliance requirements and internal control practices.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to combine strategic financial leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
