Role: Lead/ Architect C++ Developer
Location: Irving, TX & Atlanta, GA
Mode of Interview: In-Person
Client: NCR Voyix
 
 
You can expect to:
Client NCR Voyix : Architect/Lead C++ Developer role in Atlanta, GA and Irving, TX, it's a IN-PERSON INTERVIEW MUST please tighten the search and focus on the following:
 
Core must-haves:
  1. 5-10 years C++ development, specifically in a Windows environment
  2. Strong C++11+, OOP, STL, memory management, multithreading/concurrency
  3. TCP/IP and socket-level programming — this is important; API-only networking experience is not enough
  4. 3-5 years Python, preferably for automation/testing/scripting
  5. BDD/Test Automation: Cucumber, Behave, Gherkin
  6. Unit testing: Google Test/GTest or cppUnit
  7. Strong debugging, troubleshooting and production support skills
  8. Senior-level ownership: design → development → testing → troubleshooting
  9. Agile, Jira/Confluence experience
High Priority / Differentiator: Target candidates coming from Payments, Payment Gateways, POS/Point-of-Sale, Transaction Processing or Retail technology. Experience with PCI, encryption and secure payment systems is a major plus.
 
Please do not send generic C++ profiles or Linux-only C++ developers. We need strong Windows C++ engineers with networking/socket programming.
 
 
You have:
* Bachelor’s degree in a related area (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Services, Management Information Services) or equivalent industry experience.
* Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts
* 5-10 Years of C++ experience on Windows environment.
* Modern C++ standard (C++ 11 and above) experience
* 3-5 years of Python experience
* Should have experience in leading or managing teams.
* Experience producing technical designs for software applications.
* Must exhibit good judgment in decision making.
* Must excel in verbal and written communications.
* Able to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Able to troubleshoot complex systems including hardware and software systems.
* Test automation experience using Cucumber, Behave, Gherkin
* Unit Testing Framework like Google Test, cppUnit etc.
* Networking, TCP/IP Socket level communications
* Experience in mentoring others on SW Engineering standards and emerging best practices
* Agile Development experience
* Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
* Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
