Job Description
When managers are dealing with complex people issues, the quality of the support behind them can make all the difference. As an HR Advisor, you'll help managers make confident, commercially sound decisions while ensuring employees are treated fairly and consistently.

Your responsibilities as HR Advisor
- Advise managers on employee relations matters including performance, disciplinary, investigation, probation and absence cases
- Manage short and long-term absence cases, including Occupational Health referrals
- Support employee relations meetings and hearings, ensuring fair and consistent processes
- Produce accurate documentation including meeting notes and outcome letters
- Review and update people policies to maintain legal compliance and reflect current best practice
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and help embed effective policies across the organisation
What we're looking for in a HR Advisor
- Someone with 3-5 years' HR experience would sit well within the existing team structure
- Strong generalist people-function experience within a commercial, office-based environment
- Proven experience independently managing employee relations cases
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and current best practice
- Experience working with people systems and producing accurate documentation
- Experience influencing and supporting managers and stakeholders at different levels
