Job Description

Role Title: UKG Pro Payroll Consultant

Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Duration: 6 month contract with possible conversion to FTE

Preferred Location: Remote, ET or CT time zone

Role Description:

Looking for a Payroll Consultant specializing in UKG Pro, you will lead the configuration and optimization of payroll solutions. This role requires deep expertise in UKG Pro's payroll functionalities, system integrations, and best practices to ensure seamless payroll operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure UKG Pro Payroll for new clients, including pay rules, tax calculations, deductions, earnings codes, and compliance settings.
  • Lead payroll upgrades, ensuring proper data mapping, validation, and system integrity throughout the implementation process.
  • Collaborate with client payroll team and stakeholders to gather requirements, design payroll workflows, and tailor UKG Pro configurations to meet business needs.
  • Integrate UKG Pro with external HRIS, Finance, and Time & Attendance systems, ensuring seamless data flow and automation.
  • Provide post-implementation support, resolving payroll-related system issues and optimizing workflows for continuous improvement.

 

Requirements:

Strong expertise in UKG Pro Payroll implementation and configuration

  • Experience with payroll integrations, data conversions, and system migrations
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and reporting
  • Hands-on experience with system testing, troubleshooting, and user training
  • Familiarity with SQL queries, APIs, or automation tools (a plus)
