Job Description
We are seeking a Senior COBOL Developer / Team Lead to guide technical planning, collaborate directly with business teams, and drive software delivery.
Location: Blythewood, SC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite during training; up to 2 days remote/week post-training)
Residency: Must currently reside in SC, NC, or GA
Interview Process: 2 Rounds of Virtual Interviews
Key Technical Skills Required
-
COBOL Expertise: 6+ years with Visual COBOL (V9) or Micro Focus COBOL
-
Client-Server & SQL: 10+ years developing Windows client-server apps using Oracle SQL
-
Technical Leadership: 5+ years leading software development teams, project planning, and mentoring
-
Production Support: 5+ years providing Level 3 (L3) system support
-
Business Analysis: 5+ years translating business specs into technical requirements
Bonus Skills: Oracle 19+ SQL, C# / .NET (Visual Studio), and government system experience.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

10+ years of overall technical experience

Ability to pass CJIS background check/fingerprinting
