Job Description

Schedule: Hybrid (Monday-Thursday in office)

A leading life sciences real estate investment and development platform is seeking a Senior Analyst or Associate, Asset Management to join its growing team. This is a highly analytical role with significant responsibility across portfolio management, financial modeling, budgeting, valuation, and strategic asset-level decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with teams across investments, development, capital markets, and operations while helping drive performance across a portfolio of institutional-quality assets.



Responsibilities

  • Prepare investment committee materials and recurring portfolio performance reporting.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models, cash flow analyses, valuations, and scenario analyses.
  • Support asset business plans, budgeting processes, and long-term forecasting initiatives.
  • Evaluate leasing activity, tenant proposals, operating performance, and capital expenditure projects.
  • Assist with lender and investor reporting requirements, capital planning, and valuation processes.
  • Review leases, loan agreements, partnership agreements, and other asset-related documentation.
  • Support portfolio management initiatives, transaction underwriting, and due diligence efforts.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to execute strategic asset management initiatives.


Qualifications

  • 2-6 years of experience in asset management, acquisitions, investments, real estate private equity, development, investment banking, or a related field.
  • Strong academic credentials required, including a proven track record of achievement at a highly regarded university.
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex real estate investments.
  • Experience with Excel and ARGUS; strong quantitative and technical capabilities are essential.
  • Prior experience at a top-tier real estate owner/operator, REPE firm, investment manager, developer, investment bank, or consulting platform is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to institutional-grade office, commercial, industrial, or life sciences real estate strongly preferred.
