Head of Human Resources and Office Management

Job Description
Our client is a growing, privately owned construction and service organization seeking a strategic HR leader to oversee all human resources functions.

Strategic HR leadership: Partner with ownership and division managers on workforce planning, organizational structure, performance management, and culture initiatives
Compliance and risk: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; maintain handbooks and policies; oversee investigations and employee relations matters
Recruiting and talent acquisition: Lead full-cycle recruiting for field and administrative roles, build sourcing relationships (trade schools, colleges, associations), and improve onboarding
Build training and leadership development programs and support career pathing
Employee relations and culture: Serve as the primary HR resource across all divisions and support engagement, recognition, and retention
HR operations: Manage performance reviews, compensation benchmarking, benefits administration, HR reporting, and vendor relationships
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
~7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
~ Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
~ Multi-location operations experience preferred
~ Proven success in recruiting, employee development, and conflict resolution
~ HRIS/payroll and Microsoft Office proficiency preferred
