Firmware Engineer

Everpure, Inc. seeks a Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and optimize embedded software for data and analytics solutions. You'll build robust firmware for edge devices that feed cloud data platforms, integrating sensors, connectivity, and security. Collaborate with data engineers and cloud architects to ensure reliable data capture, performance, and observability. Responsibilities include driver development, real-time debugging, code reviews, and test automation. You'll experiment with modern embedded toolchains while working in a collaborative, learning-focused culture that values curiosity, ownership, and sustainable, flexible work.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded firmware for data-collecting and connected devices
• Develop and maintain device drivers, hardware abstraction layers, and RTOS components
• Collaborate with data engineering and cloud teams to ensure reliable, high-quality data capture
• Debug, profile, and optimize firmware for performance, reliability, and power efficiency
• Build and maintain automated tests and tooling for firmware validation
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and documentation of firmware components
• Implement secure boot, firmware update, and basic security mechanisms for devices
• Support hardware bring-up, lab testing, and issue triage with cross-functional teams
