Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AS400 Architect to support enterprise applications for a remote opportunity. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in IBM i (AS400) architecture, application modernization, and technical leadership. The candidate will work with development teams to design, enhance, and support mission-critical AS400 applications.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with IBM i (AS400)
• Strong expertise in RPG, RPGLE, Free Format RPG, CL/CLLE
• Experience with DB2/400, SQL, SQLRPGLE
• Experience in AS400 application architecture, design, and modernization
• Hands-on experience with system integrations, performance tuning, and production support
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Healthcare domain experience (CVS) is a plus
