Sr. Technical Lead Architect

A fortune 500 company is looking for a Sr. Technical Lead Architect. This architect will focus on leading technical architecture solutions around data, data warehousing, data lakes, AWS, GenAI, Microservices, etc.  The ideal architect will have started in development and then moved to architecture. 

Responsibilities:

·       Lead the design of complex, high-impact technical solutions across multiple systems and teams, contributing to the overall technology vision across Enterprise Risk.

·       Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into architectural blueprints and implementation roadmaps.

·       Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, ensuring alignment with architecture principles and best practices.

·       Own and evolve architectural standards, patterns, and documentation for long-term scalability and maintainability.

·       Conduct architectural reviews and provide hands-on support when needed for technical decisions.

·       Collaborate with the company's Enterprise Technology, Architecture, Data, and Security organizations to ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise standards and principles.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

·       10+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on experience with modern frameworks and technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Kafka, Angular, Java, Python)

·       8+ years in a senior architectural or technical leadership role.

·       This is a director level role as a single contributor.

·       Deep experience in solution architecture, microservices, APIs, integration patterns, security best practices, micro-front ends, 12 factors, etc.

·       Proven track record of designing and deploying scalable, cloud-native solutions within AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (AWS is preferred).

·       Experience with building GenAI and AI solutions

·       Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies.

·       3+ years of relevant large-scale enterprise transformation experience as relates to architecture preferred.
